Collecting
Collecting things can be very enjoyable and rewarding. It is fun because:
- You can collect things that you need for your other hobbies, e.g. sequins and beads to make things
- You can get out your collection and sort it and look at it when you are bored
- You can show it to friends and family
- It gives you something different to look out for when you visit different places
- You can try to find as many different things as possible for your collection
- You can swap things with friends who have similar collections
- Depending on what you collect - it may be valuable one day
Here are a few ideas for things that make good collections, but you could collect virtually anything that appeals to you. Do consider size and space though. Many people have ended up with a collection so large that they have had to move to a bigger house!
