Nursery fees - The Island Day Nursery, Newport
The Nursery opens at 7.30 am each day for those parents that wish to
take advantage of a pre- session early drop off. There is a small
additional fee for this service and it is strictly by special
arrangement with the Nursery Managers because we have to ensure that the
nursery is adequately staffed at this time.
Fees with effect from 6th April 2009, inclusive of all meals, snacks
and drinks:

Breakfast Club is run between 7.45 am to 8.45 am
Morning sessions are between 7.45 am and 1.30 pm
Afternoon sessions are between 1.30 pm and 5.45 pm
* Please speak to us regarding a discount for children who are not yet
weaned.
Fees will now be reviewed annually on 1st April each year.
Fees are payable in advance. An administration fee of 5% may be added
for any late payment. A discount is applicable for those parents that
pay fees by standing order. A non refundable registration fee equal to a child’s first weekly fees, capped at £50, is payable on accepting a nursery place. This fee covers administration and some free settling in sessions.
Free places for 3 - 4 year olds Nursery Education
Grant - How this works
At age three children move to the Shooting Stars pre-school group. In
the first term after their third birthday your child is entitled to
begin receiving the Nursery Education Grant.
They are entitled to a maximum fee support of 5 free 2½ hour pre-school
sessions per week for 38 weeks per academic year which equates to 475
hours per year.
