Ingredients

- 75g (3 oz) stoned dates
- 25g (1 oz) walnuts
- 50g (2 oz) cut mixed peel
- 50g (2 oz) raisins
- 2 level teaspoons thick honey
- desiccated coconut

Method
- Place a sheet of greaseproof paper on a baking sheet.
- Put the dates and walnuts on a board and chop with a knife.
- Mix together in a basin the chopped dates and walnuts, the cut peel, the raisins and the honey. Stir with a wooden spoon.
- Divide the mixture into 14 pieces and mould each piece into a ball.
- Put a little coconut on a plate and roll each ball until it is well covered. Place the balls on the greaseproof paper.
