Welcome to The Island Hope Childcare, Sandown, Isle of
Wight Our aim is to ensure that the children who come to
our Nurseries and Pre-schools have fun, enjoy their time
with us and develop their learning in a calm, relaxed
and natural way. We endeavour to provide an
educationally stimulating environment in which the
children are able to progress at their own speed towards
the goals set in the Early Years Foundation Stage which was introduced by the Government in September 2008.
Above all, we aim to provide the best possible care
for your child.
The Island Hope Childcare is based in Fort Street, Sandown - this is a new purpose-built nursery.

The Island - Hope Childcare has previously been running since 1989 and now provides full day care for nursery and pre-school children. We also run a Fun Club for 5 - 9 year olds which includes after school and holiday care.
Our Nursery caters for children from birth to two and a half years. There is ample provision for play and learning and walks out to the park and local places of interest. We have a sleep room for those children who require rest or sleep during the day.
Our Pre-School takes children up to school age and allows flexible school entry between the ages of 4 and 5 years.
At Hope Childcare all children are monitored within the EYFS framework under its six areas of child development:
Communication, language and literacy
Problems solving, reasoning and numeracy
Knowledge and understanding of the world
