Pick-up-sticks

You will need:

• 25 wooden skewers
• felt tip pens

Divide the skewers into 4 groups of 6 with one left over. Use one of the felt-tip pens to colour this all over one colour. Choose a different colour for each of the 4 groups of sticks and colour the ends.

Rules:

Keeping the plain stick separate, one player throws the sticks onto the play area and uses the pick up stick to help pick up each stick individually without moving any of the other ones. If any other stick moves, even very slightly, then it's the other person's turn.

This is a game of skill and the player who picks up the most sticks is the winner.
